Fusilli Alfredo in large blue bowl

Alfredo Sauce is a creamy Italian sauce made for pasta.

Units Scale
  1. 8 ounces Pasta
  2. 1 Fresh Garlic Clove
  3. 1 Tablespoon Butter
  4. 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  5. 8 Tablespoons Kraft Parmesan Cheese
  6. 2 Pinches Salt
  7. 1 Pinch Ground Black Pepper

  1. Boil Water For Pasta
  2. Heat saucepan over medium heat
  3. Melt butter and add minced garlic (I like the garlic chunky for this recipe)
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Put on low heat
  6. Mix continuously while adding half the parmesan cheese.
  7. Once the sauce is unlumpy add the second half of parmesan cheese.
  8. Keep mixing the sauce will thicken after about five minutes while the pasta is cooking.
  9. Add salt and black pepper.
  10. The longer the sauce sits, the thicker it will get.

I actually prefer this recipe with spinach fettuccine. The kind of pasta doesn’t matter as long as you use fresh garlic and heavy cream, it should come out great. I always use Kraft Parmesan.
