Pie Crust

Sweet pie crust is the way to go. I love apple pie with a sweet crust. I like to double the recipe so I don’t need to struggle with the top.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 Cup Flour

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1/2 Cup Butter

1/2 Cup Sugar

4 Tablespoons Water

Instructions

1 – Let butter reach room temperature

2 – In a medium bowl mix ingredients minus water.

3 – Add 1 Tablespoon of water at a time until there is no dry floor

4 – Split in half and form two balls.

5 – roll into a circle and place bottom into 9″ pie pan

Notes

I mix by hand with a fork. I find the texture is better than using a mixer or the KitchenAid.
